West Indies Smash Massive Total Against India in Guwahati ODI

West Indies scored a massive total of 405 for 7 in 50 overs against India during the second ODI at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday. John Campbell, Shai Hope, and Amir Jangoo all scored brilliant centuries to power the team. Campbell started the innings with an explosive knock of 101 runs from 68 balls. Captain Shai Hope supported him well by scoring 104 runs from 94 balls after benefiting from two dropped catches. Amir Jangoo then accelerated the scoring rate rapidly, finishing with an unbeaten or well-played 114 runs from 77 balls to push the team past the 400-run mark.

Indian Bowlers Struggle to Stop West Indies Batters

Kuldeep Yadav was the best bowler for India, taking two wickets for 65 runs. Other Indian bowlers, including Prasidh Krishna, Auqib Nabi, Gurnoor Brar, and Ravindra Jadeja, struggled to contain the opposition batters. The West Indies maintained a high scoring rate throughout the innings to set a target of 406 runs for India to chase in the match.
