West Bengal Pilgrims Show Eco Friendly Kanwar Journey

Devotees from West Bengal have caught the attention of everyone on the Kachchi Kanwariya path by carrying unique handmade idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati as their kanwar.

The special kanwar is made entirely keeping nature in mind. Pilgrims used only eco-friendly colors to decorate the idols and the kanwar so that it does not harm the environment or water sources.

Journey Toward Deoghar

Carrying this heavy and unique kanwar on their shoulders, the devotees are walking toward Deoghar while chanting Bol Bam and Har Har Mahadev. The dedication of these pilgrims and their care for the environment have become a major point of inspiration for locals and other travelers along the route.
