West Bengal CM Reviews Sabang Flood Situation at BDO Office

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived in Sabang on Thursday at 12:15 PM to assess the flood situation caused by heavy rainfall and rising river water levels in West Midnapore. The Chief Minister reached the Block Development Officer (BDO) office shortly after landing by helicopter to hold a meeting with administrative officials regarding the ongoing flood crisis.
Directives for Flood Relief Operations
During the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed the administration to remain present with the people in flood-affected areas at all times. She issued strict directions to ensure that relief materials and essential services reach the affected residents as quickly as possible. The administration has been tasked with monitoring the flood situation regularly and taking immediate action whenever necessary to address the problems faced by the local population.
