A new road project of 48 kilometers has been officially approved in the Uttarpara assembly constituency to improve local travel. This project aims to fix road conditions and make daily travel safe and smooth for local residents.
The Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority will build 40 kilometers of roads, which is 83.3 percent of the total project.
Another eight kilometers will undergo damage repair and infrastructure restoration work, making up the remaining 16.7 percent of the project.
Dipanjan Chakraborty, the local MLA, shared details about the approval of the detailed project report.
The main goal of the project is to build better roads and create strong connectivity for a better future.
