Two people died and two others were injured when a truck and a car collided on National Highway 327E in the Kishanganj district of Bihar. The victims were traveling from Madhubani to Siliguri for Raksha Bandhan when the accident occurred.

Doctor Anil Kumar Singh died during treatment at the hospital. The injured professor Radheshyam Sharma alleged that there was a delay in providing medical care at the hospital, but the deputy superintendent of the hospital denied these claims.
