Tripura Police Starts 3000 km Bike Rally Against Drug Abuse

Tripura Police has flagged off a 3000-kilometre motorcycle rally from Agartala to Gujarat to spread awareness against drug abuse and promote national unity. The rally was started to mark the upcoming Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and aims to build a drug-free India.

Rally Details And Route

The motorcycle expedition began from the Manoranjan Debbarma Smriti Stadium at AD Nagar Police Lines in Agartala. Acting Tripura Director General of Police GK Rao and senior police officers attended the event to formally flag off the journey. The rally will pass through several states before ending at Ekta Nagar in Kevadia, Gujarat, which is near the Statue of Unity.

Participants And Main Purpose

The rally brings together members from state police forces, Central Armed Police Forces, and other security agencies to show teamwork against narcotics. Tripura DGP GK Rao stated that the campaign aims to warn young people about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourage local communities to join the fight against drug addiction.
