Tripura Government Focuses On Cricket Infrastructure Growth

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced that the state government is giving special focus to developing cricket infrastructure across the state. He shared this update during an event in Agartala.

Cricket Academy And International Stadium

Thirty acres of land has been given for a new cricket academy in Sekerkot. This academy will also help players from other northeastern states. The construction of a new international cricket stadium is also nearly finished. National and international matches will happen there soon.

Support For Local Players

Practice grounds are being built in Kailashahar, Belonia, and Jirania to help rural players. The Chief Minister congratulated player Mani Shankar Murasingh for playing 100 Ranji Trophy matches. The government will keep giving legal and administrative support to the Tripura Cricket Association.
