History Of Tribal Development
Congress leaders questioned competing political claims over the history of tribal development in the state. They stated that educational institutions and infrastructure grew significantly between 1949 and 2018, citing the establishment of thousands of schools, colleges, and public facilities.
The party highlighted incomplete implementation of the Forest Rights Act, 2006. Congress demanded legal recognition and land titles for all eligible tribal families and raised concerns over the commercial use of forest land.
Congress questioned the alliance between the BJP and Tipra Motha and raised concerns about TTAADC administration. The party appealed to voters to support its candidates in the upcoming elections across 587 committees covering 4,597 seats.
