Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha stated that civil service officers are the backbone of the state administration and ensure welfare schemes reach common people. The Chief Minister spoke at a clothes distribution event organised by the Tripura Civil Service Officers Association in Agartala.
Chief Minister Saha appreciated the association for
distributing new clothes to sanitation workers and security personnel ahead of Durga Puja. He noted that civil service officers also help people during natural disasters, organise blood donation camps, and distribute winter clothes.
Highlighting administrative work, Saha mentioned that
Tripura ranked first in the country for deregulation and compliance reduction over the last two years. He told officers that
earning public trust through sincere work matters more than rank or educational qualifications.
