Tripura CM opens new ICU and CSSD at Agartala hospital

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated a new Intensive Care Unit at the Super Speciality Block and a modern Central Sterile Services Department at the Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital in Agartala. The new facilities aim to improve critical care and infection control at the state's main government hospital.

New Healthcare Facilities

The inauguration event took place at the Super Speciality Block of the hospital. The event saw the presence of MLA Mina Rani Sarkar and Health and Family Welfare Department Secretary Kiran Gitte along with other officials.

Improved Medical Care

The new ICU will help provide better monitoring and specialized care for seriously ill patients who need advanced medical support. The modern CSSD will handle the cleaning, sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical equipment to different departments and operation theatres to maintain safety standards.
