The annual water festival takes place on the banks of Rudrasagar Lake around the Neermahal water palace.
The event features traditional boat races, cultural programmes, and community celebrations.The state administration emphasizes transparent administration, infrastructure development, and strategic growth in tourism. Officials noted that initiatives to restore heritage sites aim to promote regional socio-economic development. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and Education Minister Kishore Barman also attended the event along with local authorities who arranged security and logistics.
