Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha launched new water projects and digital grievance systems in Agartala to improve urban infrastructure and public services.
The government started the construction of a
6.81 MLD capacity Surface Water Treatment Plant at College Tilla along with a 680 KL Overhead Tank. These projects aim to
strengthen the clean drinking water supply network across the capital city.
Chief Minister Manik Saha also flagged off Rapid Response Team vehicles and truck-mounted water tankers. The government launched an
AI-based IVR calling system and a dedicated WhatsApp Grievance Redressal System to make public service delivery faster and more transparent. Residents of Agartala can now
register complaints and track resolution status through their smartphones.
