Tripura Central University celebrated its 40th Foundation Day on Friday at the Maharaja Bir Bikram auditorium in Agartala. The event marked four decades of education and research in the region with big plans for the future.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha and Higher Education Minister Kishore Barman attended the ceremony along with University Chancellor Ahmed Javed and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Debabrata Das. Thousands of students, faculty members, and other university guests joined the celebration.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Debabrata Das shared plans to transform the institution into a world-class university with better infrastructure, research, and industry partnerships. The university signed new agreements and received a major funding commitment to set up a Centre of Excellence and training centers for young people.
