Trinamool Congress leader Kunal Ghosh strongly criticized Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and the state government over several issues in Kolkata.
Kunal Ghosh accused the administration of removing a family from the public hearing of Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari through police action. He stated that on Saturday, minister Agnimitra Pal visited the location and the family was threatened, which he called unfortunate. Ghosh mentioned that Mamata Banerjee took responsibility for the family on Sunday, after which the police brought them back. He questioned why the Chief Minister did not take responsibility earlier between Saturday and Monday, claiming the government acted only after Mamata Banerjee's statement. Ghosh reacted strongly to remarks made about Mamata Banerjee by the Chief Minister.
He termed the comments against a former Chief Minister as anti-women and serious. He challenged the Chief Minister to a walking and yoga competition between the former and current Chief Minister to test physical fitness. Regarding 20 Trinamool MPs receiving notices, Ghosh stated that Kalyan Banerjee has explained the situation in the Supreme Court and claimed the law is on their side, alleging that MPs switching sides go against political ethics.
