Tripura police arrested three men for allegedly collecting forced money for Durga Puja and attacking an on-duty woman police officer.
The event took place in Teliamura when the accused stopped a vehicle and took four thousand rupees by force as a donation.
The driver fled to the police station and filed a written complaint after the group tried to attack him.
A police and TSR team went to find the accused based on the complaint.
