Siliguri Traffic Police Action Against Encroachment

Siliguri traffic police launched a special drive on Wednesday to clear illegal roadside parking and footpath encroachment on Hill Cart Road. Panitanki Traffic Guard led the operation to remove unauthorized shops and goods placed on footpaths.

Action Against Illegal Parking

Officers took strict action against vehicles illegally parked on roads and footpaths instead of designated parking areas. Fines were issued to violators whose improper parking blocked walking space and caused difficulties for pedestrians. Shopkeepers running businesses on footpaths were also given strict warnings to clear the area.
