Siliguri Student Found Dead in Cooch Behar Hostel

A 23-year-old student from Siliguri was found dead inside her hostel room at the Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya in Cooch Behar on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Trisha Saha, who was a first-year MSc student in the agronomy department.

Police Investigation Underway

Upon receiving information about the incident, officers from the Pundibari Police Station reached the university campus. The body was subsequently taken to the Pundibari Rural Hospital for further procedures. The local police have initiated a formal investigation into the matter.

University Officials at Hospital

Following the discovery of the body, senior university officials arrived at the hospital to assess the situation.
