Siliguri Phulbari Gets Three New Concrete Roads

Residents of Phulbari in Siliguri can now expect better travel as work on three new cement-concrete roads has officially started. The road construction project in the Putimari area aims to solve long-standing waterlogging issues during the monsoon season. Local villagers faced severe trouble commuting due to accumulated rainwater on unpaved paths for a long time.

Road Construction Details And Cost

The construction of these three cement-concrete roads will cost around three lakh eighty-eight thousand rupees. The project was launched on Thursday under the leadership of the Dabgram-Phulbari block-one mandala, with local panchayat members and party workers in attendance. Local people have expressed great relief and happiness over the start of this road work.

Development Works In Phulbari Area

Mandala President Rahul Barman stated that development works will be prioritized based on public need without any discrimination. He also added that many more development projects will be carried out across the Phulbari region in the coming days.
