Siliguri Ganesh Puja Pandal Inspired By South Indian Temple

The Siliguri Ganesh Puja Welfare Society has officially started preparations for its 20th annual Ganesh Puja celebrations with a traditional Khuti Puja ceremony held at the old Duars bus stand near Bidhan Market auto stand. The event marks the beginning of the construction phase for the upcoming festival, with local business owners and committee members present to participate in the rituals.

South Indian Temple Architecture Theme

Organizers have announced that the main attraction this year will be a grand pandal designed based on the architecture of a popular South Indian Lakshmi-Narayan temple. The structure will feature detailed golden carvings and specialized decorations to replicate the look of a traditional temple. This design is intended to serve as a major attraction for devotees and visitors during the festival period.

Seven Days of Religious Programs

Following the tradition of previous years, the committee expects the festivities to be a focal point for residents across Siliguri and North Bengal. The religious celebration is scheduled to last for approximately seven days, during which the committee will host a variety of religious programs on a daily basis to engage the local community.
