Siliguri Durga Puja Features Gold And Ram Temple Themes

Durga Puja preparations are in full swing in Siliguri as different committees are set to celebrate the upcoming festival with new and unique themes.

Central Colony Puja Highlights

The Central Colony Durga Puja Committee is set to celebrate its 64th year with a spectacular golden theme. Goddess Durga will be adorned with gold ornaments weighing approximately 100 kg. To protect the valuable ornaments, elaborate security arrangements will be made, including an 8-foot barricade, private security, police deployment, and CCTV surveillance.

Saktigarh Ujjwal Sangha Ram Temple Theme

Apart from this, a Durga Puja pandal by Saktigarh Ujjwal Sangha is set to bring a replica of the Ram temple, bringing a spiritual and religious theme to this year's celebrations. The saffron-coloured pandal stands approximately 60 feet tall as artisans work to complete the structure ahead of the festival.
