Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal virtually joined the Rozgar Mela held at Rangmahal, Maligaon in Guwahati on Saturday. 128 successful candidates received appointment letters during the event. These candidates were selected for jobs in various government organizations across the country.

Government Organizations and Departments

The newly recruited candidates joined multiple important departments. These organizations include the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Border Security Force, and Central Industrial Security Force. Other departments include the Controller General of Defence Accounts, Jal Shakti Ministry, Inland Waterways Authority of India, Oil India Limited, India Post, and Indian Railways.

Role of Youth in Nation Building

Interacting with the new appointees, Sarbananda Sonowal stated that these young candidates have joined vital national institutions. He noted that this event reflects the active role of youth in nation-building. He added that the government has built an environment to recognize the talent and energy of the youth for shaping the future of the country. Furthermore, he highlighted that youth employment and economic independence for women help strengthen families and society.
