Saharanpur Traders Organize Camps for Kanwar Yatra Pilgrims

Traders in Saharanpur have set up over 100 camps to provide food, medical aid, and resting facilities to thousands of Shiva devotees during the holy month of Shravan. District President of the Uttar Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Mandal, Shital Tandon, stated that serving the Kanwariyas is a significant festival for the business community.

Support Services for Pilgrims

Traders across the district are working together to provide high-quality food, milk, and rest areas for pilgrims traveling with Ganga water. These camps offer essential services including medical help and accommodation for travelers throughout the region. Shital Tandon noted that this initiative reflects the business community's dedication to service, culture, and faith.

Collaboration and Administration

Local police and administration have managed traffic and travel routes effectively to ensure the safety and convenience of pilgrims. The cooperation between various social, business, and industrial organizations has enabled the smooth operation of more than 100 service camps. The Kanwar Yatra also provides seasonal employment opportunities for many people in the district during the month of Shravan.

Dedication of Business Representatives

Many prominent business leaders are actively participating in these service efforts daily. Among those involved are Ramesh Arora, Colonel Sanjay Middha, Major S.K. Suri, and numerous other representatives who are dedicated to assisting the pilgrims. The community plans to conclude the observances on August 11 by offering water at local temples to seek blessings.
