Real Kashmir Football Club, a web series starring Manav Kaul and Zeeshan Ayyub, has received an International Emmy nomination for Best Drama Series. The announcement was made on Wednesday, placing the Indian series alongside international shows like A Thousand Blows, Carême, and Menem.
The inspirational sports drama is based on the true story of Real Kashmir FC, which is
Jammu and Kashmir’s first professional football club. The series is directed by Mahesh Mathai and Rajesh Mapuskar, and it is produced by Jaya Entertainment, Oshun Entertainment, Kapital Entertainment, and SK Global Entertainment. The cast also features Abhishant Rana in an important role.
Manav Kaul shared the happy news on his Instagram handle by posting the poster of the series. Kaul stated that the story is about the human spirit and hope. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub added that the show celebrates friendship and faith. The series is
currently streaming on SonyLIV after its release on December 9, 2025.
