One hundred and five girl students of Class 9 received bicycles under the state government's Sarthi scheme at Chintamohan High School in Ambari Falakata, located in the Rajganj block of Jalpaiguri district, on Friday.
Several public representatives and prominent persons attended the distribution program, including Rajganj Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Monika Adhikari. The guests personally handed over the bicycles to the students.
Monika Adhikari stated that 105 girl students of Class 9 received bicycles under this scheme. She claimed that the bicycles provided under the current government's Sarthi scheme have better quality compared to the previous government's Sabuj Sathi scheme.
