Rajganj Administration Issues Strict Rules For Durga Puja

The local administration in Rajganj held an important meeting with puja committees at the Kanyashree Bhavan near the BDO office to discuss preparations for the upcoming Durga Puja festival. Various administrative rules including puja permission, electricity and fire department clearances, and police permissions were explained to the committees. The meeting was attended by Rajganj BDO Subhankar Das, Rajganj Police Station IC Amitabh Das, along with officials from the electricity, fire, and traffic departments.

Strict Ban On DJ And Drugs

The administration has issued a strict warning against the use of DJs during puja pandals and immersion processions. Officials made it clear that strict legal action will be taken if anyone is found playing a DJ during the processions. Furthermore, puja committees were warned about a complete ban on the use of any kind of intoxicants within the puja premises. BDO Subhankar Das stated that committees were given primary information about the permission process, and further instructions will be shared once all government guidelines are received.
