The Government of Rajasthan held the Pravasi Rajasthani Meet 2026 in Guwahati to connect with the diaspora and highlight growth opportunities. The event brought together Rajasthani diaspora members, industry leaders, and senior government officials. The meeting was held ahead of the Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas 2026 scheduled for 10th December 2026.
The Department of Industries & Commerce and the Department of Domestic & Overseas Rajasthani Affairs jointly organized the meet. The gathering provided a platform to discuss state policies, development priorities, and emerging investment opportunities.
State Industry Minister Krishan Kumar K K Vishnoi invited the diaspora to reconnect with their roots and contribute to the state. He noted that investment worth 35 Lakh Crore took place across sectors like tourism, mining, and handicrafts in the first year of the programme.
Additional Chief Secretary Shikhar Agarwal led one-to-one meetings between the diaspora, industry representatives, and the state government. Dr Manisha Arora highlighted Rajasthan’s investment potential and the availability of 57 different minerals supporting industrial activity.
