Officials Shower Flower Petals on Kanwariyas in Saharanpur

The Saharanpur administration conducted a special aerial tribute by showering flower petals on Kanwariyas from a helicopter to mark the ongoing Kanwar Yatra. This initiative was carried out following the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi आदित्यनाथ.

Aerial Tribute and Route Coverage

Divisional Commissioner Dr. Rupesh Kumar and Deputy Inspector General of Police Abhishek Singh boarded a helicopter from the Sarsawa Air Force Station to perform the flower shower. The helicopter flew over key locations including Ghantaghar, Gagalhedi, and Rakesh Chemical to greet the devotees. The flower petals were showered directly on the Kanwariyas traveling along these routes, creating a devotional atmosphere.

Administrative Oversight and Security

District Magistrate Arvind Kumar Chauhan and Senior Superintendent of Police Abhinandan have been personally inspecting Kanwar routes and camps on a daily basis since the start of the Yatra. Divisional Commissioner Dr. Rupesh Kumar has issued strict instructions to maintain cleanliness and ensure robust security arrangements at all temples in the district. These measures are intended to prevent any disorder or inconvenience to devotees during the water offering rituals.

Support for Kanwar Yatra

Local officials greeted the devotees moving toward different states and wished for the successful completion of their sacred journey. The administration has remained alert since the first day of the Yatra to provide necessary facilities and ensure the safety of all participants. The Kanwariyas expressed appreciation for the arrangements made by the district police and administrative officials throughout their journey.
