The National Investigation Agency arrested two more people in connection with the IED explosion at the Nalagarh police station in Himachal Pradesh. Harman Harry and Jashan Saini were arrested during the ongoing investigation into the conspiracy behind the blast.
The explosion took place on January 1 near the outer wall of the Investigating Officer room inside the Nalagarh Police Station premises.
With these two latest arrests, the total number of people arrested by the agency in this case has reached eight. The case was later taken over by the National Investigation Agency and re-registered on May 8 under strict laws including the Explosive Substances Act.
Before these arrests, the agency had already taken six other people into custody.
These six suspects were earlier arrested by the Punjab Police before being formally taken over by the central agency for the blast conspiracy.
