New Traffic Booth Opens on Eastern Bypass in Siliguri

A new traffic booth has been started at the Gora More area on the Eastern Bypass to improve the traffic system of Siliguri city. DC Traffic Kazi Shamsuddin Ahmed inaugurated the booth by cutting a ribbon on Thursday. Many senior police officers were present during the opening event, including ADCP Traffic Purnima Sherpa and ACP Chandan Das.

Traffic Rules and Road Safety

Toto drivers were made aware of following traffic rules during the inauguration program. They were also given packets of chocolate by the police officials. A large number of vehicles move through Gora More every day.

Better Control on Traffic Jams

The new traffic booth will help in controlling traffic jams, monitoring vehicles, and making roads safer. Police believe that the new booth will make it easy to take quick action during any traffic problem or jam.
