A modern ENT surgical digital microscope system has been started at the Chhatna Super Specialty Hospital in Purulia. This new machine was set up and made operational at a cost of about 15 lakh rupees through the initiative of MLA Satyanarayan Mukherjee.
MLA Satyanarayan Mukherjee inaugurated the new equipment on Friday by cutting a ribbon. Hospital Super Dr. Tapas Kumar Mandal, Assistant Super Tamal Basu, ENT department doctor Dr. Manomay Khan, and other medical staff were present at the event. The MLA stated that special emphasis is being given to developing the hospital infrastructure to provide modern medical facilities close to the local people. He added that the new microscope will play an important role in ENT treatment and complex surgeries.
Doctor Manomay Khan stated that the new technology will make it possible to provide better medical care for disease diagnosis and various ENT surgeries. Hospital Super Dr. Tapas Kumar Mandal said that the addition of this advanced equipment has strengthened the medical infrastructure of the ENT department.
This new equipment will help doctors use modern technology during disease diagnosis and complex surgeries to provide better medical services to patients. With this new machine, better medical facilities for treating complex diseases related to the ear, nose, and throat are now available at the Chhatna Super Specialty Hospital.
