Naxalbari Police Organizes Blood Donation Camp in Siliguri

The Naxalbari Police station organized a blood donation camp to strengthen the relationship between police personnel and local residents. This event was held on Thursday within the Naxalbari police station premises with the support of the Lions Club.

Camp Details and Participation

Police personnel, local residents, and members of various organizations participated in the event. The organizers set a target to collect 100 units of blood during the camp. To encourage the participants, SDPO of Naxalbari, Soumjeet Ray, presented blood donors with roses and saplings to promote environmental awareness.

Official Presence and Objective

Several notable individuals attended the event, including the Ranger of Tukriajhar Forest Department, Suraj Mukhiya, along with members of the business committee and social workers. SDPO Soumjeet Ray stated that the police intend to connect more closely with the public while continuing their duty of maintaining law and order. He noted that a large number of people voluntarily participated in the initiative.
