A new project was launched on May 13, 2026, to help farmers. This project is called the Mizoram Ginger Unique Selling Proposition and Sustainable Cultivation and Value Chain Development Project. It has a budget of 189.78 crore rupees. The project was started together by Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma and Union Minister for DoNER Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia.
