Transport and Labour Minister Arjun Singh inspected the long-neglected Tarapur Hospital in Shamsherganj on Tuesday morning. Strict security arrangements were made by the administration during the minister visit. Labour department officials, BJP leaders, and party workers were also present on the hospital premises.
During the inspection, the minister gathered information about the current status, infrastructure, medical services, and problems faced by patients.
Officials and local representatives raised various issues regarding the long-standing problems of the hospital. Left-wing labor leader Mohammad Azad and BJP leader Sashti Charan Ghosh informed the minister about the difficulties faced by local people.
Locals stated that Tarapur Hospital is an important health center for Shamsherganj and surrounding areas.
Improving the infrastructure and medical services can benefit a large number of people. After the inspection, Minister Arjun Singh assured that necessary steps will be taken for the development of the hospital and special attention will be given to ensure better medical facilities for the public.
