Hundreds of people joined a massive motorcycle rally in Rayagada, Odisha, to pay tribute to Assam Rifles jawan V Teja. The 31-year-old soldier died after sustaining a gunshot wound while on duty in Nagaland.

Teja had joined the armed forces in 2022 and was serving in Nagaland.
His mortal remains were brought to Rayagada, where locals gathered in large numbers. The procession featured fireworks, DJ music, and chants honoring the soldier.
The district administration made preparations to pay tribute to the soldier before his funeral rites.
Teja had pledged to donate his organs two years ago, and a local hospital successfully collected and preserved them according to his wishes.
