Manipur Wushu Star Wins Silver Medal At Asian Games

Naorem Roshibina Devi won a silver medal in Wushu at the Asian Games in Japan. Her mother revealed that the athlete was suffering from the flu when she left for the competition.

Roshibina lost to China's Zhang Xiaoyu in the women's sanda 60 kg final. She lost both rounds by a 0-5 scoreline, as per ESPN.

Historical Achievement

Roshibina became the first Indian woman to win three back-to-back medals in Wushu at the Asian Games. She previously won a bronze in 2018 and a silver in the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
