Manipur Police Arrest Three People And Seize Drugs

Security forces in Manipur arrested three people and seized drugs during two separate operations on September 13, 2026. The seized items include 162 grams of heroin and 182 Spasmo-Proxyvon capsules.

First Operation in Lilong

A joint team of Lilong police and Thoubal Commandos intercepted two suspects named Bibi Leihan and Md Faroque on September 13, 2026. Authorities recovered 182 Spasmo-Proxyvon capsules and 133 grams of heroin powder from them.

Second Operation at Mantripukhri

Heingang police arrested a third suspect named Md Abdul Rahaman at Mantripukhri during a second operation. Officers recovered 29 grams of heroin from his possession.

Investigation and Recovery

Investigators also impounded mobile devices containing digital ledgers and transaction records from the suspects. Field officers stated that these narcotics were meant for local distribution.
