Manipur Food Poisoning Hospitalizes 78 People

Seventy-eight people, including 75 Border Security Force personnel and three civilians, were hospitalised at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences in Imphal on Friday after suffering from food poisoning.

Patients Brought To Hospital

The patients were brought to the hospital outpatient department after experiencing repeated vomiting following breakfast. RIMS Medical Superintendent Professor Dr Rameshwor Singh stated that the entire company of the BSF was rushed to the block due to the incident.

Condition Of Patients

All patients are responding well to treatment and are being administered fluids to manage their condition. Medical authorities confirmed that the patients are expected to recover within a few hours.
