A man was found dead in mysterious circumstances at the North Bengal State Transport Corporation bus stand complex in Siliguri. The deceased has been identified as Manu Pal, who was a resident of Falakata.
Locals spotted Manu Pal lying unconscious at the bus stand complex on Monday and immediately informed the police. Police reached the spot and took him to the Siliguri District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Postmortem And CCTV Check
Police have sent the body for an autopsy to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital to determine the exact cause of death. Officers are also examining the CCTV footage installed at the bus stand premises as part of the investigation.
