A young man died after being hit by a train near the Rampur rail gate in Kishanganj. The deceased was identified as Dharmendra Malakar, a resident of Alu Mandi in Rampur. Local police and a Railway Protection Force team reached the spot immediately after receiving information about the incident.
The victim was struck by a passing train near the railway track and died on the spot. A large crowd gathered at the location after the news spread. Police sent the body to Kishanganj Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Local residents reported a family dispute at the victim's house on the night before the incident. Police and RPF Inspector H.K. Sharma inspected the scene and are questioning family members and neighbors. Authorities stated that the exact cause of death will be clearer after receiving the post-mortem report.
