Major Theft Reported at Ghospur Union Netaji Vidyapith

Thieves broke into Ghospur Union Netaji Vidyapith in Hooghly and allegedly stole between 10 to 12 lakh rupees. The incident was discovered on Wednesday after the school staff found the locks of the headmaster's office cut open.

Initial reports suggest that the thieves used a gas cutter or similar tools to enter the premises. The main office chains were cut and several cupboards were broken into during the incident. Teachers' lockers in the staff room were also damaged, and important school documents and files were found scattered across the floor.
