Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has reached the major milestone of 200 wickets in One Day Internationals. He achieved this feat during the second ODI match against the West Indies in Guwahati. Kuldeep Yadav bowled a ten-over spell taking two wickets for 65 runs.
Kuldeep Yadav is now the fourth Indian spinner to reach the 200-wicket mark in ODI cricket. He joins legendary Indian spinners Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, and Ravindra Jadeja on this elite list.
Kuldeep reached this milestone in 123 innings with an average of 26.76. Among all Indian bowlers, only Mohammed Shami reached 200 ODI wickets in fewer matches than Kuldeep.
India won the toss and chose to field first in this match. West Indies scored a massive total of 405 for seven wickets in their 50 overs.
