Kolkata Library Hosts Book Discussion On Indian Knowledge

A special book discussion on the well-known book Bharat Ki Saraswat Sadhana was held in Kolkata. The event took place at the Sri Burrabazar Kumar Sabha Pustakalaya library room under the Navasandhan project. The programme began with the singing of Vande Mataram and offering flowers to the picture of Goddess Saraswati. Mahavir Prasad Bajaj, the president of Kumar Sabha, welcomed the guests and explained the importance of the book in understanding Indian knowledge traditions.

Book Readings And Speeches

Three readers presented their views on the book during the event. Dr. Kamal Kumar stated that the book tries to view Indian wisdom in new contexts. Acharya Vinodanand spoke about the wide range and continuous nature of Indian knowledge traditions. Ajayendra Nath Trivedi said that Saraswat Sadhana means continuous curiosity and dedication to knowledge. Banshidhar Sharma, the secretary of Kumar Sabha, gave the vote of thanks at the end of the event. Many writers, scholars, and literature lovers from the city attended this gathering.
