Jalpaiguri Students Take Out Tiranga Yatra For Independence

Students and teachers of Sahudangi Hat P.K. Roy High School organized a grand Tiranga Yatra in Jalpaiguri on Thursday to mark the upcoming Independence Day. The rally was held under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to spread the message of patriotism and respect for the national flag.

Students participated in the march wearing their school uniforms while carrying the national flag. During the event, one student dressed up as Bharat Mata to represent the spirit of the nation. The procession passed through several areas, including Sahudangi Bazar, Ashram Para, and Nova Para. The entire area appeared festive as participants raised slogans of patriotism while carrying the tricolor.

Objective of the School Event

School Principal Pradeep Chowdhury stated that the event was organized to encourage participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The principal emphasized that the country achieved freedom after the sacrifices of many freedom fighters.
