State Minister Ananda Moy Barman inspected the land for the proposed indoor stadium in Naxalbari under the Siliguri subdivision on Tuesday. The administrative process for the project has moved forward with this official visit.
The minister checked about two acres of land in Pattiram Mouza of Naxalbari during the visit. He was accompanied by Naxalbari Block Development Officer Pranab Chatterjee, Block Land and Land Reforms Officer Deepanjan Majumdar, and other administrative officials. The team reviewed various aspects of the project at the proposed site.
The indoor stadium plan aims to benefit local players and sports lovers in Naxalbari by providing better facilities. The new infrastructure will support sports training, competitions, and various events in the area.
