The Indian Army has successfully finished the five-day Agniveer Recruitment Rally 2026 at the Dasarath Deb State Sports Complex in Badharghat, Agartala. The drive took place from October 13 to October 17. It was led by the Army Recruiting Office Silchar, working alongside the Headquarters Recruiting Zone in Shillong, the Spear Corps, and the Civil Administration of Tripura.
A total of 1,203 shortlisted aspirants took part in the event after clearing the Common Entrance Examination. Officials noted high enthusiasm from the youth of Tripura. During the five-day drive, candidates went through multiple stages to check their physical fitness, medical readiness, and operational capability.
The event ran smoothly due to strong teamwork between the military and civil authorities. The Tripura State Civil Administration, state police, and sports complex management provided vital support. This included holding zones for candidates, safe drinking water, medical stations, and crowd control. The Indian Army thanked all local teams, security forces, and citizens for their help in keeping the event safe and disciplined.
