Himanta Criticises Kharge Over Remarks On PM Modi

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has criticised Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge over his recent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sarma alleged that Congress leaders do not respect Indian values and are inclined towards Pakistani culture.

In a video message, Sarma expressed disappointment over Kharge statements and mentioned past criticism regarding the Bharat Ratna award to Bhupen Hazarika. He also noted that Kharge father had died at the hands of the Razakars.

The remarks follow a controversy during Kharge address in Patna where comments were made about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kharge also accused the Prime Minister of telling lies regarding black money.
