According to the latest report from Hindusthan Samachar, South Bengal is expected to experience light to moderate rain throughout the day. Heavy rainfall is predicted for various locations, and the intensity is likely to increase on August 16 and 17. Districts including Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, and the 24 Parganas are expected to remain under cloud cover with potential thunderstorms and gusty winds.

Rainfall Outlook for North Bengal

North Bengal districts, including Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, and the Dinajpur regions, will also see changing weather conditions. Light to moderate rain is expected across these areas, which may temporarily impact visibility and local traffic flow in the hilly regions.
