Gaurav Gogoi Alleges BJP Attack On Congress Vehicles In Assam

Assam Congress President Gaurav Gogoi has made serious allegations against the ruling party following an incident in the Samaguri assembly constituency. Gaurav Gogoi alleged that the BJP was relying on goons and coal trade individuals to win elections.

According to the reports from Morigaon, Gogoi stated that the ruling party could not win elections in Assam on its own strength. He claimed that government machinery was being used to support such elements during the political events.

Bhupesh Baghel Reacts To The Incident

AICC General Secretary Bhupesh Baghel also spoke about the situation and claimed that attempts were made to intimidate Congress leaders. Baghel alleged that the individuals involved in the stone-pelting were linked to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Chhattisgarh Congress President Deepak Baij also condemned the incident and demanded strict accountability from the state government.
