Four Suspected Myanmar Nationals Arrested at NJP Station

Railway police arrested four suspected intruders at the New Jalpaiguri railway station based on a tip-off. Preliminary investigation revealed that all four individuals are from Myanmar and had been living in Bangladesh for a long time. They were allegedly planning to cross the border and travel to Punjab by train.
Joint Operation at NJP Station
Acting on secret information, the Railway Protection Force informed the railway police about the suspects. A joint search operation was conducted late Friday night inside a general compartment of the Tripura Sundari Express when it arrived at platform number six of the NJP station. The four suspects were taken into custody during this search.
Further Legal Proceedings
Following their detention, the four individuals were handed over to the Government Railway Police for further legal action. The GRP is currently investigating the entire matter.
