Major Fire Destroys Plastic Factory on Sevoke Road Siliguri

A major fire broke out at a plastic factory located in the Industrial Park on Sevoke Road in Siliguri on Monday morning, causing extensive damage to the facility. The blaze spread rapidly, covering the surrounding area in thick black smoke and destroying a large portion of the factory structure.

Details of the Fire Incident

Witnesses first noticed smoke coming from inside the factory premises at approximately 10:30 AM. Within a short time, the fire intensified due to the presence of large quantities of plastic, chemicals, and other flammable materials stored inside the building. Four fire tenders were deployed to the location to battle the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further.
